Ryan Wildstar began his musical career 18 years ago as the front man and vocalist for the eclectic group EXP. The group put out a string of EPs and appeared on a ton of compilatons in addition to their full-length self titled release, EXP on Triple X records in 1995. The group also released songs on the widely-acclaimed tribute albums to Pink Floyd and Dead Can Dance, Saucerful of Pink: A Tribute to Pink Floyd and The Carnival Within.

Ryan also collaborated with long-time friend Rozz Williams on The Whorse's Mouth, which the pair wrote together in the early 1990s. The last released EXP track, Anubi was featured on the now highly collectible compilation CD by Erik Christides, Merry Maladies. In addition, his lyrics appear on Rozz Williams and Gitane Demone, Dream Home Heartache and the Heltir album, Neue Sachlichkeist.

Currently, he has just finished recording his first release in over 10 years: Ryan Wildstar, A City of Brittle Stars. The project features Wildstar setting his unique blend of spoken word poetry and lyrical style to the musical arrangements of Jacen Touchstone. The project was started over 5 years ago and the duo expect the release of this unprecedented work in the Winter of 2010.
